Description

Zhitao Li is currently a Director of Engineering leading Uber’s AI infrastructure org which supports model training, inference, evaluation, feature store, analytics, accelerators and Agentic infrastructure for entire Uber. Previously, he worked as a TLM in Google’s TensorFlow Extended(TFX) team focusing on end-to-end MLOps externally and internally to Google.

Before AI infra, Zhitao came from a Compute Infrastructure background. He was a seed member to Uber’s container team which introduced and productionized Docker containers for almost all aspects of engineering, and also worked at Facebook’s early stage of service discovery, RPC and some ML Ranking systems.
