Yann Blazart is a Senior Tech Lead at SCIAM, a Paris-based innovation and consulting firm. With 26 years of hands-on experience in the Java ecosystem, he is a passionate advocate for Jakarta EE, MicroProfile, and CDI.
A long-time open source contributor, Yann has submitted patches to projects such as Apache TomEE, JAX-WS (Metro), and WicketExtJS. He is an active speaker, having presented at Devoxx France, Devoxx Belgium, Devoxx Morocco, Riviera DEV, and Paris JUG.
Most recently, Yann co-created LangChain4j-CDI with Emmanuel Hugonnet and Buhake Sindi — a CDI extension under the LangChain4J umbrella that bridges AI capabilities with enterprise Java through Jakarta annotations and MicroProfile Config.
