Paul is the Java core library architect and lead for Project Babylon. He has worked on numerous Java features up and down the stack, such as from streams to var handles and constant dynamic. He is a reformed restafarian - prior to working on the Java platform he worked above it on JAX-RS, an API for RESTful web services and it's very popular implementation, Jersey.
