I am a Software Developer at Oracle’s Java Platform Group, currently working on Project Babylon and HAT, building Java programming abstractions for programming GPUs and hardware accelerators. My focus is on JIT compilation and optimizations of managed runtime systems to target modern hardware.
Previously, I was a Research Fellow at The University of Manchester, where I led the development of the TornadoVM framework.
I hold a PhD from The University of Edinburgh and have worked as an intern at CERN and Oracle Labs. I have also presented my research at several academic and industry conferences, including JVMLS, QCon, Devoxx and JavaZone.
